Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time IT and Cybersecurity Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing first-class technical support to our customers and maintaining our internal systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in both IT and cybersecurity practices, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computers, printers, network equipment, and various software environments including Office365 and Google Workspace. Experience with firewall installation, maintenance, and breach response is crucial. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies, including Windows and Mac workstations, Linux and Windows servers, and NAS storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective technical support to customers, addressing issues related to computers, printers, network equipment, and applications.
- Install, configure, and maintain physical and (SD) software defined firewalls and other cybersecurity controls to protect against threats and unauthorized access.
- Configure and Monitor security systems, investigating and responding to alerts, potential threats, and breaches with urgency and competence.
- Support and manage Office365, Google Workspace, and other cloud-based environments.
- Push patches and updates to critical and non-critical devices.
- Experience troubleshooting common network issues on Windows and Mac workstations, Linux and Windows servers, and NAS storage systems.
- Collaborate with the team to review and enhance internal systems and security protocols, ensuring the highest level of protection for both our company and our clients.
- Stay updated on the latest IT and cybersecurity threats and trends, continuously advancing your knowledge and skills.
Requirements - Must Have:
- Two-year minimum MSP experience.
- Experienced in enterprise RMM and EDR solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, cybersecurity practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficient in managing and supporting Windows and Mac workstations.
- Cloud services such as Office365 and Google Workspace.
- Excellent critical thinking skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical users and executives.
Requirements - PLUS
- Experience working in Active Directory environments.
- Experienced in Vulnerability and Patch management lifecycle.
- Understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to install, configure, and maintain firewall systems and respond to security breaches.
- Servers: Experience in configuring and maintaining operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
- Experience with NAS storage and backup solutions.
- (SOC) Security Operations Center experience and threat response.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft).
