Job Description

As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol in Milford, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment to support a positive outcome.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious behavior, reporting findings according to Allied Universal guidelines and client protocols.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities in a clear and timely manner as required by site and company procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
