Responsibilities
  • Attract and retain great people; know everyone's capabilities and aspirations, invest in the growth of others
  • Analyze requirements and learning gaps and develop a leadership development program, curricula, and content across the continuum of people managers (first time managers, mid-level managers, leaders of leaders)
  • Coach to team objectives and impactful outcomes; enable success across boundaries; and help the team adapt and evolve
  • Embody Taher's values, do the right thing, be kind-hearted, deliver performance and be remarkable
  • Demonstrate an ability to influence change and initiate actions that have strategic impact and drive a high-performance culture
 
Key Duties
  • Recruit top talent in the field
  • Train and develop those hires to execute to Taher's brand standards
  • Career Path the teams under their area of influence to ensure those who want to be more have a pathway forward
  • Model best-in-class leadership, program management, and organizational skills to evolve learning programs to meet future needs
  • Build partnerships, apply creative resource management, drive continuous measurement and learner feedback processes to improve and advance the learner experience.

Taher, Inc. is a family-owned and operated, chef-driven, food service management company providing K-12 school lunch management, campus dining, senior dining, corporate dining, catering, vending and office beverage services to clients in our growing nationwide footprint. Taher, Inc. maintains a consistent presence in Food Service Management's Top 25 companies. Qualifications
  • 5 years food service leadership experience required, contract food service preferred
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in instructional design, educational technology, organization design, talent management, organizational psychology, human resources or related discipline, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree. Strong organizational and leadership skills and the ability to work in agile and iterative way in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated ability to think conceptually, develop strategies and drive execution to achieve quantifiable outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to flex to various audiences
  • Ability to partner with and influence all levels of management and employees
  • Self-starter with strong analytical, project management and change management skills
  • Skilled at prioritizing and working under time constraints, handling multiple tasks, and working independently while remaining flexible to changing priorities and assignments.
  • Passion for a "roll up your sleeves" and design/contribute environment while managing through ambiguity
  • Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills; lead by example; enjoy working with others in a collaborative, social environment; effective at building and maintaining strong relationships

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
  • Position offices out of Dallas, Texas
  • Travel throughout the southern region required
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment.
