Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 7+ years' experience in managing paid social or digital media teams, establishing performance standards, career paths, and training programs.
  • Collaborate closely with account teams, creative, analytics, strategy, and media operations to ensure paid social is integrated seamlessly into client programs.
  • Oversee campaign execution and optimization across platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snap, Pinterest, and emerging channels.
  • Monitor and manage media spend, pacing, performance, and ROI; forecast budgets and ensure campaign delivery meets/exceeds KPIs.
  • Serve as a senior client-facing partner—presenting strategies, performance results, and insights to clients and internal stakeholders; inspiring confidence and driving growth.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, ad formats, and innovations; build vendor relationships and bring new opportunities into the agency.
  • Establish and refine best‑in‑class paid social processes, frameworks, reporting structures, and automation where possible.
  • Partner with leadership to scale the paid social practice—including staffing, headcount planning, tools adoption, and departmental growth.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience managing a team in paid social or digital advertising.
  • 8+ years of paid social media/digital advertising experience overall.
  • Proven track record planning, executing, and optimizing large-scale paid social campaigns across multiple platforms and objectives.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience turning data into actionable insights and presenting to senior stakeholders or clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, including client presentations, cross-functional collaboration, and vendor negotiation.
  • Deep knowledge of major paid social platforms and ad tools (Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, etc.) and awareness of emerging channels.
  • Ability to think strategically, handle complex problems, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Comfortable with budget forecasting, media pacing, and driving ROI.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
