Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and elevate our security operations in the Doral area. This role is ideal for a proactive, results-driven leader with a strong background in team development, client relations, and operational oversight. The Operations Manager will ensure full compliance, maximize efficiency, and reinforce Nation Security's commitment to safety, service quality, and organizational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies that enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, and team performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of security professionals, overseeing recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess needs and design customized security plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement, emergency responders, and community stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, client contracts, and state security regulations.
  • Prepare operational reports, incident summaries, and performance insights for senior leadership.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in private security or a comparable operational environment.
  • Proven success leading diverse teams in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client-relationship-building skills.
  • Strong knowledge of security operations, compliance requirements, and Florida regulations.
  • Proficiency with scheduling platforms, reporting systems, and security management technologies.
  • Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or equivalent (preferred).
  • Familiarity with FDACS regulations is required.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
