Job Description And Duties

The Child Care Program's (CCP) Program Office within the Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) may be the perfect fit for you.

The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) serves, aids and protects disadvantaged and vulnerable children and adults in ways that strengthen and preserve families, encourage personal responsibility and foster independence. CDSS employees are our most important resource in serving California's most susceptible population.

The CCP is currently accepting applications for a Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) Specialist within the Policy Bureau.

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager II, or Bureau Chief, the SSM I Specialist develops and implements the anaphylactic policy, creates and distributes informational materials, and provides training and technical assistance to support policy implementation. The SSM I Specialist also leads outreach efforts, coordinates with California Department of Education and other partners, serves as a liaison with state agencies on legislative and regulatory changes, and contributes to ongoing policy development and quality improvement.
