We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Leasing & Marketing Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for the daily sales and marketing functions of a multi-residential apartment building located in downtown Detroit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Leasing:

  • Taking phone calls, emails and other communications and connecting with prospective tenants to answer questions and set up viewing appointments
  • Showing units, ensuring professional presentation
  • Preparing lease applications and/or lease documents for prospective tenants, and ensuring compliance with company standards and local/state/federal laws
  • Preparing and executing renewing lease agreements with current tenants
  • Using internal data management software to track and organize reporting to the tenants and company
  • Managing pre move-in suite deficiency reports
  • Inspect vacant suites daily/weekly to ensure they are move-in ready
  • Coordinating move-ins with the Property Manager
  • Maintain model suite(s) ensuring all standards are consistently met
  • Achieve weekly/monthly sales and vacancy targets

Marketing:

  • Development and execution of a sales and marketing strategy
  • Coordinate and implement marketing materials and initiatives
  • Manage social media accounts and advertising
  • Manage multiple online listings and online rental marketing assets
  • Monitoring and engaging with online customer feedback/reviews using standard best practices
  • Track website traffic and reporting, utilizing internal data management software to optimize marketing campaigns
  • Provide appropriate demographic information as well as customer feedback to the sales & marketing team to ensure a successful advertising campaign

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience:

  • Degree/diploma and/or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience focused in sales and/or marketing
  • Exposure to leasing & sales in a multi-residential or other related industry would be considered an asset
  • 3-5 years proven history of success in a sales environment
  • A professional demeanor and presentation, coupled with strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google, etc)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) would be an asset
  • Experience using property management software would be an asset

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate a high degree of salesmanship, integrity, discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to easily and quickly develop rapport with a diverse range of people
  • Ability to accurately listen, understand and respond appropriately
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work and act independently using good judgment without the need for a lot of direction
  • Self-motivated individual who is proactive, takes initiative and is goal/results oriented

Requirements:

  • The position requires a flexible schedule including some evening and weekend hours
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check

Compensation will include a base salary and commission component.
