Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team at a premier hotel. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining the smooth operation of the front desk during night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, hospitality management experience, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently while providing exceptional guest relations.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, maintaining accurate records.
  • Conduct night audits, balancing daily transactions and preparing reports for management.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Operate multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls and provide information to guests.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and resort amenities to assist guests effectively.
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Provide support for special requests or arrangements for guests as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Experience with night audit processes is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
  • Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems.
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts while managing multiple tasks effectively.
