Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
  • Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.
  • Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected financial position.
  • Track cash receipts including fee revenue vs. pass-through payments.
  • Audit contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to monthly close process.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly.
  • Recommend the modification of accounting and accounting control procedures.
  • Report to management regarding company finances.
  • Work directly with vendors to resolve financial questions.
  • Assist with the identification of modifications to the corporate accounting system.
  • Support the annual audit, including preparation of supporting schedules and analytics as needed.

Time Management & Prioritization – Ability to manage competing deadlines, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet close and reporting timelines.

Education & Experience:

  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2-5 years General Accounting experience
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Corporate accounting / General ledger experience
  • Experience in working as part of a team to drive towards an optimal solution
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including expert Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of Sage Intacct a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction
  • Demonstrates quality customer service, teamwork, and cultural fit
