Location:
Plano, TX (40% Travel)

Compensation:
$80,000–$100,000 base + 40–70% target bonus (Total Comp: $112K–$170K)

Are you passionate about guiding retirement plan sponsors and participants toward financial security? We're seeking a skilled
Retirement Counselor
to join a fast-growing advisory firm specializing in retirement plans for small and mid-sized businesses.

What You'll Do:

  • Own long-term relationships with 401(k) plan sponsor clients
  • Lead plan design reviews, investment updates, and vendor coordination
  • Deliver participant education and enrollment campaigns, both onsite and virtually
  • Serve as the key contact post-sales and throughout the client lifecycle
  • Consult on plan governance, IPS, fee benchmarking, and fiduciary support
  • Travel up to 40% nationally to support clients in person

Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years in financial services with 401(k) or retirement plan experience
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Background in capital markets, ERISA, plan design, and education
  • Polished presenter, especially to participant groups
  • Series 65 or ability to obtain upon hire
