Job Description:

Raptor is seeking a Civil Engineer w/ 10+ years of land development civil engineering experience to manage preparation of design and construction drawings as well as writing technical reports. This job is full-time, in-person between our two Denver area offices.

The Director of Civil Engineering shall have professional experience and knowledge regarding land development engineering tasks on Commercial and Residential projects. Experience in Denver areas is strongly encouraged. Land Development experience is required. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from A.B.E.T. Accredited school
  • Professionally Licensed Engineer in Colorado or ability to quickly obtain
  • Expert level Civil3D skills
  • 10-15 years of land development experience
  • Drive to lead a team and spearhead civil design
  • Ability to make important design decisions
  • Demand for exceptional customer service, quality, and communication
  • Strong communication skills including in-person, e-mail, and phone
  • Front Range Jurisdictional Experience
  • Transportation engineering experience
  • Wastewater engineering experience
  • Detention and water quality design experience
  • Drainage report experience
  • Skills in Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
  • Eagerness to think both creatively and technically
  • Detail-orientated
  • Remain agile and solutions-oriented in high pressure situations
