Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Front Desk Agent will handle various responsibilities, including managing reservations, assisting guests with inquiries, and promoting our services through effective upselling techniques.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out processes.
  • Manage reservations using our POS system, ensuring accuracy in bookings and guest information.
  • Handle cash transactions, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
  • Provide product demos and information about hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experience.
  • Upsell rooms and services to maximize revenue while maintaining guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with merchandising efforts by promoting retail items available at the front desk.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are stocked and readily available.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests.
  • Supervise front desk operations during assigned shifts as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred, particularly in a grocery store or hospitality setting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse clientele; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management accurately.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage; experience in merchandising is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
