SEASONAL BANQUETS BARTENDER/ SERVER

A service charge from a percentage of the event sales incorporated into your paycheck on top of the hourly pay advertised.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensures that all members and guests receive proper, attentive, courteous, and expedient service in a clean and pleasant atmosphere.
  • Always wear appropriate uniforms prescribed by policy and maintain personal cleanliness.
  • Responsible for opening/side-work/closing duties for shift worked.
  • Familiarize yourself with an event order and all details of event (i.e. Food & Beverage, A/V, etc.)
  • Take food and beverage orders promptly and courteously and operate the P.O.S. (point of sale) system accordingly.
  • Serve drinks and pour wines for members and guests.
  • Transfer food at proper temperature from the kitchen to the dining room and be able to serve and remove dishes using the proper service methods as instructed.
  • Maintains care and cleanliness of all banquet equipment.
  • Ensure that all equipment and products are all properly stored after functions.
  • Maintains cleanliness and care of work areas or back of house areas.
  • Provide excellent service and attention to details for all guests throughout their dining experience and immediately correct any deficiencies noted. "Attention to detail is the difference between Good and Great"
  • Notify the MOD if you need to leave your station for any reason (this includes rest room and smoke breaks)
  • Inform the MOD of any complaints or compliments or issues immediately.
  • Report directly to Banquet Captain and Banquet Manager.
  • Adherence to schedules and on-time attendance at all line-ups.
  • To work well as a team member with the entire club staff.
  • Always have a professional and friendly tone and action.
  • Operate under all guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as set forth by the Club (see employee handbook).
  • Other duties as assigned and requested by management.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.25 per hour
