Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and site operations, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Experience in the solar industry is preferred.

The Construction Manager will lead project teams, manage resources effectively, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Duties

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project planning and execution.
  • Coordinate project scheduling and resource allocation to optimize workflow.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts for accurate project execution.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Manage project estimating processes using tools like HeavyBid and Civil 3D for accurate cost assessments.
  • Implement time management strategies to enhance productivity across all project phases.
  • Prepare detailed reports on project status, including challenges or changes in scope.

Experience

  • Proven experience in construction management or a related field is essential.
  • Solar construction experience is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software and project management tools such as Bluebeam is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with contracts, project coordination, and civil engineering principles is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
