We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join Mr. Woody's Gourmet Popcorn team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to our e-commerce platforms. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of digital marketing trends.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media marketing strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Create engaging content that aligns with brand messaging and resonates with target audiences.
  • Utilize SEO techniques and keyword research to optimize content for better visibility.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends and insights through social listening tools.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns on Facebook and other platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing graphics using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Engage in relationship management by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Conduct proofreading of all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, public relations, and social media management.
  • Manage phones, emails, and correspondence.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel.
  • Prepare memos and documents.
  • Oversee office supplies and vendor coordination.
  • Assist in event planning and company functions
  • Perform general clerical duties (data entry, scanning, note-taking).
  • Experience
  • Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of social media marketing principles, including branding and content creation.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar applications for scheduling posts and managing campaigns.
  • Experience with photography and video editing is a plus for creating compelling visual content.

Experience

  • Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of social media marketing principles, including branding and content creation.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar applications for scheduling posts and managing campaigns.
  • Experience with photography and video editing is a plus for creating compelling visual content.
  • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on relationship management.
