Overview

Turning Point Revision is dedicated to supporting children and families involved in Child Protective Services (CPS) and the Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS). We provide trauma-informed behavioral support and facilitate supervised family visitations to promote healthy reunification and stability.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled PRN Therapeutic Behavioral Aide / Family Visitation Specialist to provide as-needed support to children and families involved in DFCS cases. This role includes behavioral intervention, supervised family visitation monitoring, and crisis de-escalation in home and community-based settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-call, as-needed behavioral support and intervention to children and families in CPS/DFCS cases.
  • Supervise and document family visitations to ensure safety, appropriate interactions, and adherence to court-ordered guidelines.
  • Support children and parents in developing healthy communication, coping skills, and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Implement behavioral modification techniques to promote positive family dynamics.
  • Assist in crisis de-escalation and intervention as needed.
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation of visitations and behavioral support sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with DFCS caseworkers, therapists, and legal professionals regarding case progress.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred).
  • Will accept child care experience .
  • Experience working with children and families in crisis, preferably within CPS/DFCS settings.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, behavioral intervention strategies, and family reunification practices.
  • Strong ability to observe, document, and provide unbiased reports on family interactions.
  • Excellent communication, de-escalation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to various home, community, and visitation settings.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
  • Must pass a background check and have a valid driver's license.
