Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, ambulation, and transfers per each client's plan of care
  
  
• Monitor client's condition and report any changes promptly
  
  
• Prepare light meals and provide nutrition support
  
  
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care
  
  
• Offer companionship and emotional support
  
  
• Support use of mobility devices (wheelchair, walker, etc.)
  
  
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration)
  
  
• Maintain accurate documentation using our mobile app
  
  
• Follow infection control and safety procedures (CDC-compliant)
  
  
• Uphold agency policies, procedures, and professional standards
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of professional caregiving experience (non-family care)
  
  
• Reliable transportation to Valparaiso, IN
  
  
• High school diploma or GED
  
  
• Current CPR certification and TB test (or willing to obtain)
  
  
• Must pass a national background check
  
  
• Valid photo ID and Social Security card (for employment verification)
  
  
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional

Compensation: $ $16.00 per hour
