Position Description:

  • At least 2 years of industry experience required.
  • Help instructor conduct training related to welding skills and practices for adult students two evenings a week at a Tulsa Tech Lemley campus location.
  • May be needed to assist in one or more of the following specialties: pipe welding, gas metal arc welding, flux cored arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, SMAW.

Essential Job Functions for all ACD Instructors:

  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter.
  • Help effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
  • Help maintain up-to-date records of student attendance.
  • Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. – prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.)
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech's ACD program
  • Perform all other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Salary Schedule:

Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees

Hiring Range:

$17 per hour
