We are seeking an AI Solutions Lead to join the firm. As the AI Solutions Lead, you will develop AI tools to enhance lawyers' efficiency, security, and overall productivity. This pivotal role combines technical expertise with business strategy, working closely with lawyers, IT, leadership, and business teams. You will assess AI technologies, address user needs, and drive organizational change to promote AI adoption and literacy. By guiding stakeholders through cultural and operational transitions, you will ensure impactful innovation and sustainable advancements across the firm. Your efforts will deliver scalable, compliant, and secure AI solutions that align with the firm's strategic goals.

Essential Duties

  • Developing and implementing a detailed AI enablement strategy aligned with organizational goals and legal service delivery requirements is essential.
  • Establishing an AI Center of Excellence with structured governance frameworks, support networks, and communities of practice ensures effective implementation and collaboration.
  • Developing clear roadmaps for AI adoption across practice groups, identifying impactful use cases, and creating business cases to optimize organizational value.
  • Developing metrics and feedback systems to monitor adoption, performance, and impact of AI initiatives, ensuring ongoing improvement and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborating directly with lawyers and allied professionals to understand workflows, pain points, and desired outcomes, ensuring solutions are tailored to real needs
  • Leading requirements gathering, design workshops, demos, pilots, and feedback loops to co-create practical AI solutions, build confidence, and demonstrate value to stakeholder
  • Translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical audiences. Developing power users and champions to support peer learning and adoption
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and end users to identify requirements, use cases, and success criteria for artificial intelligence initiatives and solutions.
  • Determining whether projects are best implemented using Microsoft platforms (Azure AI, Power Platform, or Copilot) or using alternative AI tools.
  • Creating and managing prompt libraries, APIs, and integration frameworks for generative AI and LLM-based solutions. Ensuring implementations are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with firm standards.
  • Integrating AI technologies into existing legal and business systems, leveraging platforms like Power Platform and Power Automate to enhance data flow, reliability, security, and compliance
  • Overseeing cloud-based deployment and containerization of AI solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes). Monitoring usage data and user feedback to drive iterative enhancements and optimization
  • Performing thorough testing, validation, and optimization of AI models and applications while remaining updated on advancements in AI and legal technology. Encouraging knowledge sharing by guiding junior specialists and promoting cross-functional collaboration.

Additional Duties
EXPERIENCE SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Possess bachelor's degree in computer science, data science artificial intelligence OR equivalent experience
  • Utilize experience with legal AI systems (contract analysis, legal research, drafting) and domain knowledge in law, compliance, or legal operation
  • Apply experience with MLOps and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI applications to ensure robust and scalable solutions
  • Demonstrate success building and deploying NLP, LLM, or generative AI solutions
  • Leverage Power Platform, Copilot, and Microsoft 365 to address organizational issues, optimize workflows, and enhance decision-making with automation and seamless integration.
  • Utilize software development methodologies, API integration, and DevOps techniques to enable team collaboration and deploy AI solutions with containerization and cloud technologies.
  • Apply analytical abilities and clear communication to address complex challenges and deliver effective solutions
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in generative AI/ML specializing, ideally in legal, professional services, or highly regulated industry
  • Collaborate directly with users to collect requirements and provide solutions tailored to their specific needs.
  • Coordinate with the Power Automate team to aid in creating enterprise-level AI applications using Python, advanced AI frameworks, and cloud technologies. Participate in discussions, exchange knowledge, and ensure solutions remain scalable, maintainable, and compatible with automation workflows for optimal functionality. Utilize advanced data management practices, including SQL and vector databases, to enhance efficiency and support AI-driven processes effectively.
  • Gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions through meaningful customer engagement and direct interaction with end user

Compensation Salary $111,000 - $209,000

The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
