Hansen Talent Group is seeking a
Senior Developer
to join a large enterprise in Columbia, SC. This hybrid role (2–3 days onsite weekly) focuses on designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications with an emphasis on SAS administration and performance optimization.

What you'll do:

  • Lead complex application design, coding, testing, and implementation projects.
  • Administer and maintain Base SAS Server, SAS Metadata Server, and SAS Office Analytics on Windows Server.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and direction for system integrations and development standards.
  • Collaborate with business users and analysts to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity.
  • Participate in component and data architecture design, code reviews, and quality assurance processes.

What you need:

  • Strong experience with
    SAS system administration
    in enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency with
    Windows Server
    ,
    SQL
    , and enterprise data tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-platform environment; occasional overtime or on-call support required.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with
    Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or DB2
    .
  • Knowledge of
    Python (SASPy), R, or Java
    .
  • Familiarity with project management and business intelligence practices.
