We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shift Leader to join our team in a fast-paced quick service restaurant environment. The Shift Leader will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team to deliver high-quality food and service. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of team members during shifts to ensure efficient operations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Manage food handling processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in training new employees on food management practices, customer service protocols, and kitchen operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with management to implement promotional activities and improve overall service quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections of food preparation areas to ensure adherence to safety guidelines.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a leadership role within the food service industry is preferred.
  • Strong background in customer service, particularly in quick service fast food restaurants.
  • Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential.
  • Experience in hospitality management or banquet services is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
