Responsibilities
Drive elements of company-wide revenue forecast cycles: long-range (LPR), annual budget, and quarterly forecasts. Maintain and create core reporting and analytics infrastructure and models while proactively surfacing opportunities. Develop a deep quantitative and qualitative understanding of the Facebook's ads business model. Demonstrate the ability to create and socialize narratives and influence outcomes and decisions. Improve processes and coordinate deliverables across many business operations teams within the Finance department. Create business partnerships with leader of all levels and functions across product and data science teams. Generate custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders. Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action. Analyze competitive market strategies through analysis of related product, market, or share trends. Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods. Identify or monitor current and potential customers, using business intelligence tools. Identify and analyze industry trends with business strategy implications.
Qualifications
Requires a Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field and three years of work experience in the job offered or in a business-related occupation Requires three years of experience in the following: 1. Data visualization tools, such as Tableau 2. Development in at least one of the following scripting languages: SQL, SAS, R, or Python 3. Investment banking, finance or strategy consulting 4. Examining large datasets and distilling complex information down to an easy to follow narrative for senior leadership and cross-functional partners 5. Communicating findings and presenting recommendations to cross-functional partners and senior leadership 6. Leveraging data to solve ambiguous problems, individually and in group settings and 7. Working collaboratively with cross-functional partners in fast-paced environment
