Property Manager Assistant – $80K

A highly successful real estate executive with an apartment property portfolio in Los Angeles is seeking a
Property Manager Assistant
to collaborate with on-site Property Managers and assist with day-to-day property operations, leases, rental ads, tenant relations, and vendor coordination. This role also includes personal assistant duties for the executive and is based out of their home office in West Los Angeles.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing residential or mixed-use properties, strong accounting skills (QuickBooks), and a proven track record of professionalism and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Property Operations & Tenant Management


• Assist with daily operations across multiple residential and commercial properties.


• Prepare and manage leases, renewals, and related documents using ZipForms.


• Post and maintain property listings on Zillow, Craigslist, Avail, and other platforms.


• Manage vendor relationships, including maintenance staff, contractors, landscapers, and cleaning crews.


• Handle urgent property matters within the Los Angeles area as they arise.

Financial & Administrative Management


• Manage accounts payable/receivable and assist with bookkeeping in QuickBooks.


• Collaborate with the company bookkeeper to reconcile accounts and track property-related expenses.


• Assist in preparing property budgets, rent rolls, and financial reports.


• Monitor rent collections, lease compliance, and late payments.

Personal Assistant Support


• Coordinate business and personal travel, appointments, and events.


• Oversee household needs, vendors, and staff.


• Handle errands and occasional on-site property visits.

Qualifications


• Property management experience (residential or mixed portfolio preferred).


• Proficiency in QuickBooks, ZipForms, and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.


• Reliable transportation for property site visits.
