The Palms at Polo Trace is an upscale, full-service restaurant located in the beautiful Polo Trace community has an immediate opening for several experienced Line Cooks to join our team. Line Cook Requirements:

  • Knowledge of safety rules for kitchen equipment
  • Follow plate specs and recipes to prepare soups, meats, seafood, sauces, vegetables, desserts, and other food products
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices
  • Maintain spotlessly clean and sanitized restaurant and safe work environment.
  • Label and date all food stored & Rotate food as needed
  • Follow approved preparation procedures and presentation standards
  • Constantly inspects all food service sections during service time to ensure that the correct standards are maintained
  • Maintain sanitation procedures and organization of work area adhering to all State, federal and OSHA regulations

Requirements

Line Cook Qualifications:

  • Previous line cook experience preferred
  • Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards knowledge of kitchen equipment
  • Able to prepare food according to food handler's guidelines
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Upscale, full-service restaurant experience is ideal
