Purpose and Scope
Performs facilities tasks assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Lead.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Receives work assignments from Facilities Maintenance Lead persons.
- Performs repairs and maintenance on building structures and finishes.
- Performs repairs and maintenance on building equipment and systems.
- Performs actions in the maintenance of the building and grounds, machinery, pumps, and all other maintenance and manufacturing equipment and facility support systems.
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED plus vocational or specialty trade training.
- A minimum of one-year personal experience performing similar work involving use of various cleaning chemicals.
A good working knowledge of maintenance methods, tools, materials, and equipment used in construction, maintenance, repair, operation of building finishes, equipment, and systems.
Skills needed include adaptability, communication, customer focus, decision-making, dependability, initiative, interpersonal skills, job knowledge, judgment, personal organization, productivity, quality, results focus, teamwork, work environment, leadership, people development, project management.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Preferred Skills:
- Maintains and ensures others maintain a clean and orderly work area and that all maintenance actions are accomplished in a safe manner.
