Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate/ Admin Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. This role requires effective communication skills and a passion for sales, ensuring that customers leave satisfied and eager to return.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide personalized assistance.
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively sell items.
  • Take and accurately process customer orders in a timely manner
  • Ensure all orders are completed and delivered according to company standards
  • Communicate clearly with customers to confirm order details and resolve any questions
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through friendly and efficient service
  • Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, processing transactions and handling cash.
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and document management
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Submit reports and required information in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain organization in daily tasks and larger projects

Skills

  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
  • Experience operating cash registers and handling transactions accurately.
  • Proven ability in selling products to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Quick learner and adaptable to new technologies
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Reliable and dependable, with a strong sense of accountability
  • Comfortable with multitasking and shifting priorities

Our regular store hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. We are closed on Sundays. Please note that summer hours may vary. This position requires a 40-hour workweek, which includes Saturdays. The employee will receive one day off during the week to maintain a balanced schedule.
