Overview:

As a Senior Manager, Portfolio Management and Governance, you will play a critical role in overseeing the organization's strategic portfolio governance and managing the program and project management function. This role is accountable for the end-to-end management, organization, and execution of critical projects that have a significant impact on our business performance, as well as the governance processes that ensure projects are being managed with appropriate thought to resourcing, timelines, and risk and change management. With a specific emphasis on data-driven decision-making, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing Ops/R&D, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and other relevant departments to ensure the successful governance, planning, coordination, and delivery of projects that drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

  • Provide input the strategy in alignment with department and company goals and objectives.

  • Provide direct leadership for a team of Project and Program Managers.
  • Create and deliver executive-level communications and status updates on the business and technology modernization portfolio.
  • Drive long-term strategic planning for core platform technology initiatives.
  • Shape the future of the organization's technology landscape.
  • Portfolio Governance:

  • Oversee the portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational business objectives

  • Analyze and report on portfolio investments to facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Manage risks and prioritize projects based on business impact.
  • Lead the enterprise intake function.
  • Program and Project Management:

  • Lead the company's Program Management office.

  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects.
  • Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate productive relationships with business users and their leaders.

  • Provide leadership to support professionals (employees, contract employees, and vendors) both in technology and the business.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Have a broad understanding of the company's business and technology landscape to support key technology decisions and prioritization most effectively.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combined education and work experience
  • 7+ years proven experience in technology leadership, platform management, or service delivery.
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience leading direct reports
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in executive level reporting and governance processes
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proven experience with cloud platform implementations (e.g. Salesforce, NetSuite, Brightree, etc.)

Below is the starting salary range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.: $115,600 - $173,250 Additional benefits:: exempt - Our total compensation package includes medical, dental and vision benefits, retirement benefits, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, parental leave, family medical leave, volunteer time off and additional leave programs, life insurance, disability coverage, and other life and work wellness benefits and discounts.
