Full Job Description:

We are looking for experienced C Class drivers to join our logistics team to deliver palletized & non palletized goods, on time, and with the highest regards to safety. We are looking for people who can work full time.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a 26 feet box truck with lift gate and air brakes.
  • Delivering palletized & non palletized goods to Customers in a safe & timely manner
  • Picking up palletized & non palletized goods from Vendors in a safe & timely manner
  • Meet delivery schedules - is an absolute necessity of this job.
  • Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
  • Picking orders at the warehouse
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
  • Collect and verify delivery instructions.
  • Report defects, accidents or violations.

Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a truck driver.
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills.
  • Knowledge of how to operate a standard pallet jack.
  • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc).
  • If needed can work full time in the warehouse to pick orders

Requirements:

· At least 21 years of age or older

  • No major traffic or moving violations
  • Valid CDL Class A,B, or C Class Driver's License
  • Valid DOT Medical Card
  • Part of the job application process will require all applicants to undergo a background check and drug screening process

Salary & Benefits:

  • $ $1,100.00 per week, potential earnings - depending on experience
  • $1,500 Sign up Bonus - Bonus will be given when you would complete 365 days starting from the first day at work

Schedule:

  • 11 hours shifts, sometimes more hours if needed
  • Shifts Starts & Ends - 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM - Sometimes 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Shifts - 5 days - Monday - Friday
  • Saturdays & Sundays - 2 Saturdays in a month, 6;00 AM - 5:00 AM
