Job Description

Title: Controller

Compensation Range: $100,500-$120,250

This individual will work closely with executive management, staff, and outside vendors. They will perform the following duties:

  • Manages all accounting functions including AP/AR, compliance, and reporting.

  • Reviews, evaluates, and implements accounting systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Supervises timely and accurate monthly closing of books and account reviews.

  • Executes bank related reconciliations.

  • Prepares and presents monthly financial statements.

  • Coordinates annual independent audit and assist in preparation of annual tax documents.

  • Ensures compliance with statutory payroll and tax reporting.

  • Oversees expense reporting, capitalization policy, and purchase order procedures.

  • Facilitate and/or execute payroll

  • Assists with company strategic planning.

  • Assists with special projects as required.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting

  • Controller/Accounting Manager experience

  • 5+ related accounting experience

  • Management experience

  • Payroll experience

  • QuickBooks Enterprise and/or proficiency preferred

  • CPA is a plus

  • Highly proficient in Excel

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail
