Overview

Global Axis Security isseeking a highly motivated and vigilant Level III (3) Armed Security Officer to join our dynamic security team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the frontline protector of our facilities, ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets. Your expertise in law enforcement, surveillance, and conflict management will be essential in maintaining a secure environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in security operations, military experience, or law enforcement to apply their skills in a fast-paced setting that values proactive safety measures and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible security presence by patrolling assigned areas to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security threats.
  • Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure only authorized individuals enter secure zones.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of personnel and packages using established protocols to prevent loss prevention issues.
  • Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) continuously to identify suspicious activity or security breaches; respond promptly to incidents detected via video surveillance.
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations such as medical incidents, conflicts, or security breaches by implementing appropriate protocols including first aid and CPR when necessary.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders during incidents or investigations, providing detailed reports and support as needed.
  • Manage conflict resolution with professionalism and calmness, de-escalating tense situations while ensuring safety for all parties involved.
  • Document all incidents thoroughly through detailed reports, logs, and shift handovers to maintain accurate records of security activities.
  • Utilize conflict management skills to handle disputes or disturbances proactively while maintaining a safe environment for staff and visitors.
  • Conduct regular inspections of CCTV systems, fences, gates, and other security infrastructure to ensure operational integrity.

Skills

  • Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security with a focus on armed security operations.
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques using CCTV systems and other monitoring tools.
  • Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Ability to interpret surveillance footage accurately and respond appropriately to suspicious activity.
  • Knowledge of emergency response procedures and the ability to coordinate effectively with law enforcement agencies.
  • Exceptional communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public.
