Position description

The Ninth Circuit seeks a qualified Court Operations Manager to serve in Osceola County. This position reports to the Director of Administrative Services and serves as a lead over all administrative court functions at the Osceola Courthouse. Primary responsibilities include budget management, oversight of fiscal operations and procurement, management of personnel functions pertaining to Osceola funded positions and facilities management to include building safety, security, and expansion projects. The role is responsible for directing, supervising, and evaluating administrative staff; monitoring of administrative functions to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures; developing positive relationships among staff, judges, outside county agencies and other justice partners; and, evaluating and improving operating efficiencies while meeting goals and deadlines. This position works independently with minimal supervision making mid to high level decisions while periodically reporting major activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a court, government, or justice partner professional with knowledge of administrative functions to include general finance and accounting principles. The chosen candidate will be highly professional with excellent communications skills and a willingness to learn and grow.

The preferred candidate will have a bachelor's degree in public administration, management, finance, accounting or a related field and five years of related experience, including two years of supervisory experience and a strong working knowledge of the legal system and court administration.
