Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications and schematics. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency in using hand tools and machinery. The Fabricator/Welder will ensure that all work meets industry codes and standards while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will also learn how to use cnc machines as well as plasma cutting cnc.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding tasks using various techniques including mig and tig.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and standards.
  • Operate forklifts safely for the movement of materials within the facility as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in welding or fabrication, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents accurately.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Understanding of relevant codes and standards related to welding and fabrication processes.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
