OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Flux Core Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team in New Albany, IN. If you have a passion for welding and fabrication, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you This role is essential in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products, and you will play a key part in our manufacturing process. Responsibilities Perform flux core welding on various materials and components according to specifications. Fabricate metal structures and components using blueprints and technical drawings. Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance with industry standards. Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Assist in training new welders and fabricators as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred. Proven experience as a Flux Core Welder/Fabricator. Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment. You should be proficient in: Troubleshooting Skills OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10) Welding Setups for Production Blueprint Reading Machines & technologies you'll use: MIG Welder Flux-Cored Arc Welder
