Responsibilities

  • Safely transport prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables or designated service areas, ensuring presentation and quality are maintained.
  • Support food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing dishes and assisting with plating when required.
  • Assist servers by delivering food orders efficiently and accurately, supporting smooth table service.
  • Clear and reset tables promptly by bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any special requests or dietary needs.
  • Handle food handling procedures following safety standards to ensure guest safety and compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Operate POS systems to process orders or assist with guest transactions when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with banquet or special event setups when required, ensuring all food service areas are prepared for seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional guest services, demonstrating excellent communication skills and hospitality professionalism.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued.
  • Familiarity with food handling procedures, food safety standards, and sanitation practices is advantageous.
  • Experience working with POS systems enhances efficiency in order processing.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations or culinary experience is a plus for understanding food presentation and timing.
  • Strong customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities are essential for creating positive guest interactions.
