Line cook position available. Shift starts at 5pm and ends between 10p - 11:30pm Tuesdays through Saturdays, depending on the night of the week, Sundays need to be available after 1pm until closing. Off Mondays. Strong organizational skills are very important to organize all your garnish. Experience in Mexican food is a plus but not a requirement. Good knife skills are important as well as working with a sense of urgency. The most important skills required are teamwork and communication. Common kitchen practices are expected such as washing your hands often, rotating containers and practicing fifo. This position may include the cook to do nightly cleaning checklist. Cleanliness is very important here.
Se busca cocinero/a de línea. El turno comienza a las 5p y termina entre las 10 y las 11:30, de martes a Sábado, dependiendo del día de la semana. Los Domingos se requiere disponibilidad después de las 1p hasta el cierre. Descansara los lunes. Es fundamental tener buena organización para preparar las guarniciones. Se valora la experiencia en comida mexicana, pero no es imprescindible. Es importante tener buen manejo del cuchillo y trabajar con rapidez. Las habilidades más importantes son el trabajo en equipo y la comunicación. Se espera que se sigan las prácticas habituales de la cocina, como lavarse las manos con frecuencia, rotar los recipientes y seguir el método FIFO (primero en entrar, primero en salir). Este puesto puede incluir la realización de la lista de verificación de limpieza nocturna. La limpieza es fundamental aquí.
