Directs the programs for Contract Housekeeping, Environmental Services, and Patient Transport. Assists with assessment, planning, and implementation of selective programs to address contemporary issues relative to the healthcare environment. Ensure effectiveness of the quality management program using QIP tools and methods that facilitate the monitoring of services rendered and provide for the identification and resolution of problems with the delivery of services. Summarize actions taken as a result of campus-wide monitoring activities, including quality assessment and improvement, and risk management. Conducts periodic reviews of all Area / Trainer staff in the department and assists them to develop Personal Development Plans to address self-development needs. Evaluates staff performance and with Director, initiate personnel actions as appropriate. Ensures that staff receives proper orientation, initial training, and on-going education. Secures and develops staff members who will achieve performance standards within the department. Promote the philosophy, mission, vision, values, and goals of the organization and maintain a functional communication network for the promotion of effective services.

Bachelor's degree in management or healthcare-related field preferred. Special courses in Transportation/Environmental Services preferred but will be offered as part of orientation. Minimum of three years progressive experience in healthcare and and./or management. Familiarity with Joint Commission/CMS regulations desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be computer literate. Ability to handle confidential material with maturity, sensitivity, and discretion.

Schedule: Full-time 40 hours/week, Days, 8am-5pm
