Position Overview:

As a Recovery Solutions Restoration and Construction Mitigation/Cleaning Technician, you will play a vital role in our team, contributing to the restoration and cleaning processes after various types of property damage. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and adapt to the organization's needs. This position requires adherence to safety protocols, effective communication skills, and attention to detail to ensure the successful completion of tasks.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with Mitigation Manager, teammates, homeowners, and insurance agencies, maintaining the company's professional reputation.
  • Conduct job-site inspections, unload and load equipment, and drive company vehicles to job sites while adhering to all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Perform water mitigation tasks such as water extraction, demolition, content manipulation, and placement of industrial drying equipment.
  • Conduct structure cleaning after fire losses, including soot and smoke damage removal, using various cleaning techniques and demolition methods.
  • Learn and perform carpet and upholstery cleaning for residential and commercial buildings using truck-mounted and portable cleaning systems.
  • Assist in demolition tasks, ensuring dust-free work environments and following safety precautions.
  • Participate in microbial growth remediation, focusing on safety and compliance with industry standards, while utilizing proper protective equipment.
  • Handle heavy content manipulation, sewage backup cleaning, and provide detailed scopes of work.
  • Regularly communicate and follow directions from the Mitigation Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Capability to work at ceiling heights, climb ladders, and in tight spaces.
  • Comfort working with and around cleaning products and chemicals.
  • Willingness to travel locally and out of state when necessary.
  • Successful completion of a background check as required by law.
