What You'll Do

As a BIM Support Specialist I, you'll help teams deliver higher‑quality work by supporting our Building Information Modeling (BIM) ecosystem—training users, standardizing content, resolving application issues, and optimizing workflows that improve project performance across offices.

  • Support the firm's BIM vision across services and market sectors; help implement and optimize standardized workflows.
  • Troubleshoot BIM/Revit/AutoCAD application issues; document and communicate solutions; log issues for future reference in the helpdesk database.
  • Maintain and update production manuals, training documentation, and short training videos.
  • Coordinate and conduct ongoing BIM/3D training for users at all experience levels; assist with SME enablement.
  • Assist with BIM content development and standardization under the Design Technology Manager's direction.
  • Maintain plotting for BIM models and documents; partner with IT on hardware, software, licensing, and maintenance needs.
  • Assist in implementing documented 3D modeling processes that support delivery of engineering services.
  • Provide front‑line iHelp ticket support and timely problem resolution for BIM application users.
  • Research trends, tools, and best practices in BIM/3D and recommend improvements to enhance project performance.

Who We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements:

  • Technical school graduate with four years of related experience OR Bachelor's degree with two years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Thorough knowledge of Revit; thorough knowledge of AutoCAD; thorough knowledge of BIM and 3D modeling.
  • General knowledge of CAD‑based software and Navisworks; general knowledge of engineering theories and methodologies.
  • Judgment and decision‑making; customer focus; strong interpersonal collaboration.
  • Technical writing with clear written communication and strong speech clarity; detail orientation and visualization ability.
