Overview

We're looking for a motivated and service-driven Assistant Spa Manager (Lead Spa Supervisor) to join our team at True REST Float Spa – Franklin. This leadership role is ideal for someone passionate about wellness, who thrives in a calm but fast-paced environment, and who enjoys mentoring others while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You'll assist with daily operations, oversee team performance, and help drive membership growth and retention. The perfect candidate balances professionalism, positivity, and accountability — ensuring every guest leaves feeling relaxed, cared for, and excited to return.

What You'll Do

  • Lead by example: Support, coach, and motivate team members during shifts to uphold True REST's service standards.
  • Oversee daily operations: Manage scheduling, open/close procedures, and ensure spa cleanliness and readiness.
  • Drive membership sales: Help team members achieve sales goals and educate guests on membership benefits.
  • Handle guest escalations: Resolve issues with empathy and professionalism to maintain a positive reputation.
  • Monitor float room readiness: Ensure pods, lounge areas, and equipment are clean, stocked, and operating smoothly.
  • Coordinate training: Assist with onboarding new team members and providing ongoing coaching.
  • Track performance: Maintain awareness of key metrics — memberships, sales, and guest feedback.
  • Support management: Collaborate with the Spa Manager and ownership on team development and operational improvements.
  • Perform front desk duties as needed: Check in guests, book appointments, process payments, and answer inquiries.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role (spa, fitness, or hospitality environment preferred).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Proven track record in customer service and sales (membership-based business a plus).
  • Reliable, organized, and adaptable — able to handle both leadership and hands-on operational tasks.
  • Available for weekends and a flexible schedule.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the wellness, spa, or fitness industry.
  • Familiarity with POS or scheduling systems.
  • Enthusiasm for holistic health, mindfulness, or self-care practices.

Compensation

  • $22–$26/hour base (depending on experience)
