Overview

Sky2Ground is seeking a motivated and hardworking Utility Construction Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks that support the efficient operations of our underground utility team. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards. We are a rapidly expanding utility firm offering growth potential for new employees. Responsibilities

  • Load and unload materials and heavy equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of the shop.
  • Able to labor and work outside in the elements.
  • Rod and rope, directional boring, trenching, conduit installation, manhole maintenance.
  • Follow OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience:

  • Underground utility experience is a must.
  • Familiar with heavy equipment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
  • CDL is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
