Storm Response Outreach Specialist — Wisconsin (Field / Direct Outreach)
Location: Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay & surrounding counties
Job Type: Full-time — Field (direct neighborhood outreach)
Compensation: Industry-leading commission pay with weekly reporting and transparent payouts. (Details below.)
Why this is worth your time
Join a trusted local leader with 13 years of experience and thousands of satisfied homeowners. When severe weather hits, our name is the one people call — and we pay top performers to turn those homeowner conversations into premium appointments. This is high-impact, high-income field work: you start real conversations, set quality appointments, and earn immediate rewards. No roofing trade license required — bring drive, people skills, and hustle.
What you'll do (day-to-day)
- Run targeted neighborhood outreach in assigned areas following storm events.
- Spot visible hail/wind damage and open consultative, value-first conversations.
- Qualify prospects and schedule in-home or virtual appointments for our estimator and closer teams.
- Collect accurate lead details (roof condition, contact info, insurance status) and log activity in JobNimbus daily.
- Use proven scripts and playbooks while answering homeowner questions honestly and professionally.
- Provide field feedback to improve messaging, route efficiency, and lead quality.
- Attend paid training sessions and regular sales huddles to sharpen skills and grow earnings.
What we give you to win
- Paid, world-class sales training led by Door-to-Door Con caliber speakers and top industry coaches.
- Marketing and operations support so you can focus on conversations — not chasing leads.
- Tools and resources: field scripts, JobNimbus CRM, PPE, and campaign materials.
- Mileage/travel support and efficient route planning to maximize productive time.
- Transparent weekly commission reporting and reliable payouts (structured split: portion at sign, remainder on ACV collection).
- Fast promotion path — top setters move into closers, senior seller, or leadership roles.
Who will crush this role
- 1+ year of direct sales or appointment-setting experience (outside services preferred).
- Confident, energetic communicator who builds rapport quickly and bounces back from rejection.
- Self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working outdoors in varied weather.
- Smartphone- and CRM-capable (JobNimbus training provided).
- Valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and punctual.
- Professional and respectful when representing the company on customers' property.
Nice to have: home-services background (roofing, exterior remodel, HVAC), bilingual skills, or prior storm-response experience.
Compensation & career upside
- Industry-leading commission structure: competitive percentage of gross revenue on every signed restoration project.
- Weekly reporting & predictable payout cadence.
- Unlimited earnings — no caps. More signed jobs = more pay.
- Clear advancement — top performers move quickly into higher-paying closer or leadership roles.
- Ongoing training and support to improve lead quality and conversion.
Schedule & expectations
- Full-time field schedule (typically Monday–Friday). Occasional weekend or evening shifts during peak storm-response windows.
- Active, physical outreach — stamina, discipline, and a daily activity mindset required.
How to apply
Upload your resume and a short cover note on Indeed. In your cover note, please include:
- Which Wisconsin area you'd prefer to cover (Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, etc.)
- One example of when you started a conversation or set an appointment that led to a sale or next step
Lapota Contracting is an equal-opportunity employer committed to building a high-performing, diverse field sales force. If you're ready to get paid for starting meaningful conversations and setting premium appointments — apply now.
