Job Summary

As the Shipping Retail Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail shipping center. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring accurate and efficient package handling, maintaining inventory of shipping supplies, and providing top-tier service to our customers.

What you'll do

  • Manage daily operations of the shipping retail store, including opening/closing procedures.
  • Supervise and train retail associates, ensuring adherence to company policies and performance standards.
  • Oversee all inbound and outbound shipping activities and ensure compliance with carriers.
  • Handle escalated customer service issues and resolve shipping-related concerns professionally.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and place restock orders as needed.
  • Track sales, shipping metrics, and staff performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure store appearance is clean, organized, and customer-ready at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, transactions, and store activity.

Basic qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in retail management or logistics/shipping.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in shipping software and POS systems.
  • Experience handling cash drawers, balancing registers, and processing credit card transactions.
  • Familiarity with major shipping carriers and their requirements is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rate: $17-22 per hour
  • Overtime pay as required
  • Paid time off (after eligibility).
