Auto Repair Techs Midas is seeking experienced automotive technicians to join our team in Indianapolis Indiana.

Our shops is open all six days of the week giving our employees more flexibility of days off. Technicians typically work 5 days each week unless they want to work more. Our technicians must be well-versed in complex mechanical and electrical systems of vehicles and be excellent problem-solvers. They must also be able to explain technical issues to customers so they can make well-informed decisions. Technicians must provide their own tools; specialty tools are available if needed and are provided by the company.

This position is hourly and production-based. Technicians are paid the greater of the two, so pay is commensurate with volume of work completed. This means, the more cars we have, the more money you make This is a great way to get paid for the work you do rather than just punching a time clock

General duties include:

  • Inspect vehicle mechanical, electronic, and electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Conduct routine maintenance (fluid replacement, lubrication, etc.).
  • Repair/replace broken or malfunctioning parts.

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven automotive repair experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic, vehicle components.
  • Ability to use various tools and heavy equipment such as vehicle lift.
  • Excellent physical condition including the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • High school diploma or certification from a vocational/apprenticeship program.
  • Welding experience is a plus.
  • ASE certification is a plus.
