Job Summary
The Attorney Development & CLE Program Manager will build, manage, and deliver attorney learning programs, with a strong emphasis on CLE-aligned training and self-paced eLearning development. This role is responsible for designing and implementing the firm's attorney development framework, creating accredited continuing legal education resources, and managing the integration of learning content into the firm's LMS (Moodle).
The role will support attorney competency building across practice areas, with initial emphasis on immigration law due to practice needs. This position will collaborate with attorneys, subject matter experts, and firm leadership to create engaging, accurate, and accessible digital learning that strengthens attorney onboarding, skill development, and professional readiness.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Attorney Development Program
- Develop structured learning pathways for attorneys at all levels
- Build competency-based training aligned to professional standards and ethical practice
- Translate attorney feedback and practice needs into learning objectives and programs
- Partner with legal leaders and SMEs to scope and validate content needs
CLE Program Leadership
- Design CLE-eligible courses and manage CLE compliance processes
- Prepare and submit documentation to accrediting bodies
- Track CLE credits, attendance, evaluations, and completion records
- Stay informed on CLE standards and bar requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
eLearning Design & Development
- Create high-quality, self-paced legal training modules using tools such as Articulate, Rise, or H5P
- Develop course scripts, video and multimedia content, assessments, and scenario-based exercises
- Apply adult learning principles and ensure training is engaging, accurate, and applicable
- Maintain consistent standards for accessibility, clarity, and professional tone
LMS (Moodle) Administration
- Build and manage learning content in Moodle
- Develop course structures, user pathways, and reporting dashboards
- Track and report on learner progress, course completions, and metrics
- Collaborate on future platform expansion and integration with firm systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in law, Legal Studies, Education, or related field
- Experience in legal training, attorney development, or CLE program support
- Knowledge of CLE standards and continuing legal education processes
- Experience building training content or eLearning modules
- Familiarity with LMS platforms (Moodle preferred)
- Strong instructional design, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) or advanced legal studies (strongly preferred, especially in immigration or related practice areas)
- Experience working in a law firm or legal education environment
- Prior experience designing CLE-eligible training programs
- Experience developing interactive and multimedia learning content
- Understanding of immigration legal practice (current firm focus)

Work Environment
- Hybrid Role based in San Antonio, TX.
- Combination of in-person meetings and remote work. Occasional travel is required for stakeholder engagement, community events, and conferences.
