Main Tasks
  • Provides input and governs operational quality procedures and policies
  • Implements all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensures compliance
  • Ensures the resource optimization and allocates the labor and capital resources to maximize and achieve quality of manufacturing standards
  • Researches, evaluates, and approves investments in technology, capital, equipment, systems, or other assets that will enhance the plant's quality systems
  • Hires, leads, trains, develops, guides, disciplines and terminates team members in accordance to HR processes
  • Facilitates daily, weekly, monthly team meetings to achieve goals and objectives
  • Plans and executes annual projects for cost savings objectives set by govering board
  • Defines/approves the appropriate procedures and measures for the quality control (CRM, production quality, supplier quality)
  • Responds to customer complaints putting in containment actions, full analysis, poka-yokes (error proofing), and implementing short-term and long-term countermeasures
  • Develops and implements the local quality assurance strategies and regulations, improve the existing strategies to fit in the plant´s operations
  • Evaluates the potential risks, ensure compliance with standards and regulations and provide recommendations
  • Ensures compliance to M+H production standards and implements where needed
  • Facilitates audits and regulatory inspections as required
  • Liaise with external vendors, contractors or suppliers to ensure that their products or services meet the M+H quality standards
  • Assures compliance to processes that support customer delivery performance
  • Supports operations with supplier quality development planning
  • Supports controls of production processes according to the customer specifications for all new projects
  • Provides inspired leadership and motivation to the entire organization
  • Ensures the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed
  • Ensures the personnel is employed in accordance with the production needs and that the employees are assigned to the positions that match their qualifications; identify, facilitate and maintain the personnel training needs and development plan
  • Supports team development, cultural development, and performance of high performance teams
  • Additional duties as assigned
Your Profile
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or relevant field of technical education and experience
  • Min 3 years of management experience relevant work experience in manufacturing industry
  • Good technical knowledge of automated and simple equipment
  • Good organizational and planning skills, problem-solving
  • Leadership, strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills; MS Office
  • Knowledge on handling TS 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements
  • Abilty to read, understand and comply with written processes and procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with te ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to read, understand and comply with written and verbal instructions, company processes and procedures and safety policies
