Position Summary

NKA Bio is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Research Associate to join our cutting-edge antibody engineering and assay development lab. This position will report directly to our CTO and offers budding scientists and engineers the invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on laboratory experience and hone their skills, while working on an important project that could save lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely handle and work with biohazardous materials, including bacteria, fungi, mammalian cells, and blood.
  • Express & purify antibodies for testing.
  • Assist in development of bioanalytical assays.
  • Assist in screening of antibody candidates.
  • Prepare physiologic buffers and solutions to evaluate new medicinal formulations.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize experimental protocols.

Skills & Requirements

  • Previous lab experience is required in a biochem or biology lab setting.
  • Experience with microbial protein expression and purification, functional assays, and molecular biology techniques such as cloning preferred.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future need for employer sponsorship and must meet eligibility requirements for handling export-controlled materials (e.g., ITAR or EAR compliance).
