Our client is looking for a Senior Product Manager with consumer finance experience to join their team.The Senior Product Manager will play a critical role in optimizing products that determines credit product eligibility for consumers.This individual will join a team of product managers and collaborate closely with credit analytics, engineering, and strategy teams to ensure the seamless translation of credit policies into scalable, data-driven product solutions.

This role is ideal for a technically inclined, strategic thinker with a deep understanding of consumer finance, credit risk, and pricing mechanics. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work independently, and is passionate about building internal platforms that power intelligent decision-making.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days (T-Th) in New York, NY, Wilmington, DE, or Baltimore MD.

Senior Product Manager Responsibilities:

  • Drive execution across the product roadmap for their credit decision-making, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements. 

  • Translate credit strategy and pricing models into detailed technical requirements for development teams, analyzing consumer applications and product. 

  • Work with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performance product roadmaps that achieve business objectives. 

  • Collaborate with teams to develop requirements, manage releases, and ensure product developments aligned with market needs and capabilities. 

  • Drive requirements gathering, documentation, and prioritization for internal systems and product development. 

  • Anticipate business needs and proactively identify opportunities to improve decision accuracy, speed, and transparency. 

  • Maintain review of product performance, challenges, and optimization opportunities.

Senior Product Manager Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, lending, or consumer credit. 

  • Strong understanding of consumer finance, credit risk assessment, and pricing strategies. 

  • Proven experience writing technical product requirements and working with engineering teams in an agile environment. 

  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities with minimal oversight. 

  • Familiarity with decision engines, credit models, and internal tooling for financial services. 

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to advocate and influence decision making among senior stakeholders.
