You will own and operate infrastructure critical to Amazon Leo including engineering applications, AWS Cloud Infrastructure, and local servers. Our ideal candidate is highly autonomous, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, strong project management and time management skills and has a successful track record of delivering large-scale engineering projects. The desire and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment is essential.Key job responsibilities - Design build and maintain infrastructure as code for our hybrid-cloud Siemens engineering applications - Monitor system performance, ensuring uptime, scalability, and reliability of applications and Infrastructure - Analyze current infrastructure capacity and forecast future needs to support organizational growth. - Day to day support of existing Siemens applications on AWS and on-premise - Automate Siemens deployment and administration of Siemens engineering tools - Drive an environment of continuous improvement and operational excellence, - Anticipate bottlenecks, make trade-offs, and encourage risk-taking to maximize business benefit - Actively participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetingsA day in the life This is an excellent opportunity to join Amazon's world class technical team working with some of the best and brightest engineers while also developing your skills and furthering your career within one of the most innovative programs. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market.
