Base pay range $200,000.00/yr - $260,000.00/yr Job Title: Commercial Litigation Attorney Location: Oakland, CA & Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid) Job Type: Full Time Practice Area: Construction & Commercial Litigation Position Overview We are seeking a California-admitted litigation attorney with 4–8 years of experience, ideally in construction litigation or complex commercial disputes. This role is perfect for an attorney who thrives in sophisticated litigation, wants meaningful case management responsibility (including first/second chair opportunities), and values a collegial, team-driven culture. Key Responsibilities Manage a broad range of construction-related litigation, including delay/defect claims, contract disputes, change orders, and commercial conflicts. Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and mediations. Conduct all phases of litigation: legal research and writing. Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs. Handle discovery and depositions. Work with experts. Prepare for hearings, arbitration, and trial. Develop case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Take on increasing levels of responsibility with opportunities for leadership roles. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active California Bar license. 4–8 years of litigation experience, ideally in construction disputes and complex commercial litigation. Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills. Ability to manage complex cases independently and collaboratively.
