The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Grandville that are seeking Tooling Engineers. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures. Conduct root cause analysis for tooling failures and implement corrective actions. Manage the maintenance, repair, and calibration of production tooling assets. Collaborate with production and design teams to improve tooling performance and manufacturability. Evaluate and specify appropriate tooling materials and manufacturing processes. Develop and maintain comprehensive tooling documentation and specifications. Support new product introduction by ensuring tooling readiness and capability. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of experience in tooling design, development, and manufacturing. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) for tool design and analysis. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, machining, or casting. Expertise in material selection (metals, plastics, composites) and heat treatment relevant to tooling. Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve tooling performance and quality issues.
